Wheel Stops
Car stops, otherwise known as wheel stops, parking blocks, parking bumpers or parking stops it really doesn’t matter what you call them, we offer both supply and installation of them no matter what your needs are. They are simple blocking mechanisms that are meant to stop a vehicle from rolling forward, prevent people from parking on sidewalks or other restricted areas. The two main choices include concrete and rubber wheel stops. Concrete parking bumpers also have a few cons, including the fact that concrete breaks down over time and once it does it can create a hazardous situation and create a liability.
The next best choice in parking bumpers would be rubber car stops. Rubber wheel stops come with their own benefits: they are made of recycled rubber and that’s great for the environment; they don’t chip or break easily, and If they do become loose, they don’t typically create the same sort of hazard that a concrete wheel stop does (think vehicle damage or trip and falls). Another benefit is that they can be purchased in several colors. The cons, however, are that they are more pricey than their concrete counterparts and they cannot be repainted.
